Visit Antwerp

The city of Antwerp, Belgium was targeted by a cyber attack after hackers attack a digital partner.

Services needed by individuals, as well as those provided by schools, daycare facilities, and the police, have all been interrupted.

The publication also notes that almost all Windows applications have been impacted.

Some departments' phone service was also down.

Wilrijk district councilor Alexandra Archambeau reported that the city's email system was offline.

The city's reservation system is also having issues; it has been shut down, making it impossible for citizens to get their identity cards.

Collectibles were limited to travel cards.
