Vans, a VF Company

VF Corp., the corporation behind Vans, The North Face, and other brands, reported that it was the target of a cyberattack that interfered with its capacity to process online orders during the peak holiday shopping season.

The hackers stole specific data, including personal information, from the company and encrypted parts of its IT systems.

VF shut down a few systems on its own. According to the corporation, while it works to repair the compromised areas of its IT systems, it is attempting to minimise disruptions by taking some functions offline.

To look into the matter, VF is collaborating with cybersecurity specialists.
