U.S. Department of Homeland Security

The US Department of Home Security suffered a massive data breach that leaked the data of 9,000 DHS employees.

The breached information included names, email addresses, locations, telephone numbers and titles such as “DHS PRISM Support.”

The hackers social engineered his way into the department after compromising a DOJ employee’s email account and gained access to databases via a DOJ intranet and downloaded 200GB of data.
