The Shoprite Group of Companies

The Shoprite Group suffered a data breach incident that compromised names and ID numbers, of some of its customers who engaged in money transfers to and within Eswatini and within Namibia and Zambia.

They immediately launched an investigation with forensic experts and other data security professionals to establish the origin, nature, and scope of this incident and took additional security measures to protect against further data loss.
