Saint Gheorghe Recovery Hospital was targeted in a ransomware attack in December 2022 which slightly impacted its medical activity.
Hackers demanded about 3 Bitcoin approximately EUR 46,400 for the decryption of the data on the servers.
The hackers apparently got through by using a remote connection accessed by one of the maintenance companies and encrypted the December database.
