South African National Space Agency (SANSA) was targeted by the CoomingProject ransomware group.

The attack resulted in a possible breach of its IT system and compromised a file containing SANSA information in the public domain.

The Agency immediately took down requests that have been sent to the sites and domains that are hosting the data but the data might still appear on certain websites.
