European IT services group Sopra Steria suspected a ransomware attack on its network.
The company stated that Security measures have been implemented in order to contain risks.
The teams of the Group were putting in a lot of effort to get things back to normal as soon as possible, and every effort has been made to maintain business continuity.
Sopra Steria has been mum about the specifics of the hack, but reports in French media suggest that the company is now dealing with extortion demands after being the target of a ransomware attack.
