Kingston’s Royal Military College is one of four military training schools in Canada that were targeted in a mysterious cyber attack.
The attack was discovered on Friday, Jul. 3, 2020.
The attack disabled the University’s online network.
The insurgent software exploited security holes to install itself, then encrypted the contents of disks, rendering them inaccessible.
