In Public Schools and Education, Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri suffered from a data breach incident after a system of employee’s email account was accessed by an unauthorized individual.
Over 128,000 active participants as well as 100,000 retirees and their dependents are served by the pension program.
The email account was promptly disabled, preventing the unauthorized party from accessing the company's internal operating system.
