POLAND

Train service was disrupted in Poland's northwest as a result of the incident, which happened over night and entailed hackers getting unauthorised access to railway frequencies.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech and the country's national anthem were aired by the hackers, according to the Polish Press Agency (PAP).

Around 20 trains came to a stop as a result of a signal sent by hackers forcing an emergency halt to train operations close to the city of Szczecin. Fortunately, the disruption was short-lived and railway services were quickly restored within hours.
