Pi Network, a mobile cryptocurrency mining application admitted that about 17 GB of data has been leaked from their database.
The identity cards of an estimated 10,000 Vietnamese citizens were placed for sale, along with connected home addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Internal check did not uncover any evidence of a data leak the app reportedly sells data for advertising revenue from the moment its usage begins.
