Physician’s Business Office (“PBO”) suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party gained access to the company’s IT network.
The breach exposed the names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, protected health information and health insurance account information of about 196,573 people.
Physician’s Business Office secured its system and hired an independent digital forensics and incident response firm to assist them in the investigation.
