Pacific Gas and Electric Company

California's Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), a sizable electric utility corporation, suffered a data breach, according to Chris Vickery.

The database that was exposed to the public seems to be PG&E's asset management system.

The database included data from more than 47,000 PG&E PCs, servers, virtual machines, and other devices. Specifically, hostnames, locations, MAC addresses, operating systems, IP addresses, and more.

The company's IT personnel asserted that the database was false when word of the exposed database reached them. But fictional databases typically lack distinct sections for development, production, and enterprise.
