North Shore University Hospital

A former employee of North Shore University hospital improperly accessed patient records from its electronic medical record systems.

The breach compromised the personal information of more than 7,614 patients, however, there is no evidence that the information was misused.

The hospital suspended the employee and notified law enforcement and also the impacted individuals.
