Newcourse Communications, Inc. faced data breach leaking the Social Security Numbers of as many as 47,000 People.
It reported a data breach with several state attorney generals’ offices after the company’s computer systems were hacked.
The breach resulted in the names and Social Security numbers of certain individuals being compromised.
Newcourse Communications began sending out data breach letters to all affected parties.
The unauthorized party orchestrating the attack was able to gain access to the company’s computer network.
