NYU suffered from a data breach incident after accidentally leaked military code-breaking computer project to the internet.

The exposed information includes entire email outbox, including correspondence with active members of the U.S. military of one of the NYU institute's chiefs.

The project, a cooperative supercomputing venture run by NYU, the Department of Defense, and IBM, was described in dozens of documents totaling hundreds of pages.

And they were available for the entire world to download.
