Marin Medical Practices Concepts, a Novato company that provides medical billing and electronic medical records services was targeted in a cyberattack after that its computer system hacked.
Marin doctors have been unable to access patients’ electronic medical records for more than a week.
They investigated the incident and paid a ransom to regain access to its own data after that all impacted health care systems have been restored and brought online.
