The La Joya American Federation of Teachers was accidentally forwarded to school mailing lists of around 1,600 members' Personal information.
An Excel spreadsheet contained the names, Social Security numbers, and payroll deductions.
They worked with district officials to ensure that personnel was informed of the situation and that precautions were put in place to prevent similar mistakes in the future.
