A data breach occurred at one of Jobrad's contractual partners, which provides bicycle rental services. Both businesses and end users are impacted.
Customers who were impacted have been notified by the bicycle leasing company Jobrad about a security problem that also resulted in the leakage of user information.
Attackers copied data from both associated companies and end users, and these copies are now being shared on the dark web.
A ransomware attack at the Einhaus Group, a subsidiary service provider of the Freiburg-based corporation, is thought to be the root of the data leak.
