Newcastle-based Home Group became aware of a data breach which has compromised the personal details of 1000 of people.
The organization said the breach involved customer names, addresses and contact information, but no financial data.
It also stated that the breach was identified by a third party cyber security expert and affected customers in properties all over England, including those in North East, North West and Yorkshire.
The organization contacted all customers affected and reassured all the customers that their information is secure and they follow strict guidelines and protocols when it comes to data sharing and cyber security.
