A UK car dealership, Holdcroft Motor Group had some of its systems and files permanently deleted in a ransomware attack.
The attack apparently caused “significant damage” to the company’s infrastructure and also resulted in the loss of data from our internal storage areas.
The compromised information contained employee personal data.
The company also received a demand for payment to release information.
