Unknown hackers used ransomware to target the servers of Haldiram's Snacks Private Limited in Noida, collecting private information and requesting a ransom of 7.5 lakhs to decrypt the data.
The information seized included financial and employee data, payroll information, retail sales, purchases, and firm inventory.
On the preceding night, problems with the corporate server that ultimately turned out to be ransomware assaults were reported.
The server connection with other branches was severed once it was discovered that the company's data was being diverted through the cyberattack.
