Several Romanian government websites were recently targeted by a Russian hacktivist group Killnet in DDoS attacks.
These attacks were a retaliation against Romania’s stance in the Ukraine- Russia war.
The targeted website list included the official websites of Romania’s Government, the Ministry of Defense, the Romanian Border Police, Romania’s National Railway Transport Company, and the site of a commercial bank operating in Romania.
The State authorities mitigated the attacks and restored the website soon.
