A ransomware assault that barred access to the hospital's computer systems in Katonah's Four Winds Hospital.

For two weeks after learning about the hack, the business was unable to access its computer networks.

The NYS and federal law enforcement agencies were promptly alerted, and an investigation into the incident and the cybercriminals responsible for it was started.
