Encova Mutual Insurance Group

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported on August 24, 2023, that Encova Mutual Insurance Group experienced an external system breach involving hacking on or around May 30, 2023. The breach affected a total of 492 individuals, including personal information of 7 Maine residents, specifically involving financial account numbers and other sensitive data. Identity theft protection services through Equifax were offered to those affected.
