Notifications to affected individuals began on June 3, 2026, nearly two years after the incident. The breach affected residents in multiple states, with the highest concentrations in Massachusetts (33), Indiana (33), New Hampshire (8), and Vermont (1).
In response, ECBM is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring, credit reports, and fraud assistance through Cyberscout. Affected individuals must enroll within 90 days of receiving their notification letter using a unique code. The firm has also provided guidance on placing fraud alerts and credit freezes with major credit bureaus.
