CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal suffered from data breach incident that exposed 2,300 people.

The cyber defence team from Microsoft and the Department of Health effectively thwarted the attackers.

However, the system is weak and the Internet was restarted, however neither hospital computers nor CIUSSS CHSLDs had connection to the Internet.
