Boston Children's Hospital computer networks were targeted by Iranian government-backed hackers back in June 2021.
The attackers exploit popular software made by California-based firm Fortinet to control the hospital's computer network and initiated the attack.
FBI investigated the incident and and thwarted the activity before it could cause large scale damage.
