The Banco Estado acknowledged in a press release that it discovered harmful spyware in its operating systems.
The entity's cybersecurity teams identified a problem and have already found a solution.
The company warned that certain of its platforms might cause interruption, but so far, the CajaVecina system, which manages customer ATMs, the people's website, and the App, haven't been impacted and continue to function.
Although a number of users have reported issues with Banco Estado's online platforms, the company has urged customers to keep using them for banking tasks.
