Arnold Clark, the Scottish automotive retail giant, suffered a cyberattack after it observed abnormal activity on the company’s network.
After the attack, Arnold Clark decided to shut down its network which led to losing Internet connection, as well as contact with dealerships, and third parties.
The threat actors did not manage to exfiltrate customer data, although the company’s telephone system and booking services were infected.
