AIESEC suffered from a data breach incident that exposed more than 4 million intern applications with personal and sensitive information on a server without a password.
The exposed data includes the applicant’s name, gender, date of birth, and the reasons why the person was applying for the internship.
The database was secured on the same day of Diachenko’s private disclosure.
The agency informed the users who would most likely be on the top of frequent search results in the database.
