Fast food provider Yum! Brands disclosed a ransomware attack that forced the company to shut down almost 300 restaurants in the U.K.
After detecting the incident, the company immediately took containment measures, which included taking certain systems offline and enhancing its monitoring technology.
The data was stolen from its network but there is no evidence for customer databases were stolen.
