An unauthorized person had accessed the database of The World Anti-Doping Agency that exposed the 29 athletes' confidential information.
Ten athletes from the USA, five from Germany, five from Great Britain, one from the Czech Republic, one from Denmark, one from Poland, one from Romania, and one from Russia were targeted.
Law enforcement and IT security agencies investigated the incident and took preventive steps to control such type of incident.
