The FBI launched an investigation into a cyberattack against the Wayne County School District's 16th Section Principal Fund Account after being informed by school authorities soon after the breach was identified.
Although the full effects of the attack have not yet been assessed, Superintendent Tommy Branch said they will not have an influence on the district's regular business.
