Washington County Government experienced a cybersecurity incident that resulted in the disruption of certain computer systems, the County’s website, and certain County services.
The disruption affected the capabilities of the Emergency Communications Center (911) however did not prevent citizens from being able to report an emergency situation.
Washington County quickly commenced an investigation, with the assistance of third-party subject matter specialists, to investigate the source of this disruption and restore full functionality to County services as soon as possible.
