Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center Discloses Payroll Data Breach Affecting Employee Records
Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center LLC, a behavioral and mental health clinic in Hastings, Nebraska, reported a data breach involving unauthorized access to employee payroll records. On June 15, 2026, an attacker gained entry to the company’s QuickBooks Online account using compromised credentials. The breach was detected the same day after unauthorized changes to payroll data were identified.
Following the discovery, the clinic secured the affected accounts and collaborated with Intuit to investigate the incident. The investigation confirmed that the unauthorized access was terminated, but the intruder may have viewed sensitive personal information, including names, addresses, and Social Security numbers.
Notification letters were mailed to impacted individuals on June 25, 2026, and the breach was disclosed to the Nebraska Attorney General. As part of its response, Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center is offering 12 months of free identity monitoring through Kroll to affected individuals, with enrollment available until September 30, 2026.
