Veros Credit suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed confidential consumer information that had been entrusted to the company.
The breach compromised the consumers’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, insurance information and medical information of about 1,266 victims in Texas alone.
Veros sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the incident and further steps.
