Ventura County Credit Union

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Ventura County Credit Union experienced a data breach due to unauthorized access to an employee email account between January 29, 2024, and January 30, 2024, affecting 44,474 individuals, including 7 Maine residents. The breach was discovered on April 15, 2024, and VCCU began notifying impacted individuals on June 20, 2024, offering 12 months of identity monitoring through Experian.
