Vascular Center of Intervention

California's Vascular Centre of Intervention (VCI) filed a breach report with the state and published a replacement notice on its website.

VCI discovered strange behaviour on its network. Some patient-related files had been accessed or exfiltrated, according to an inquiry.

Medical history, physical or mental state, medical treatment or diagnosis by a healthcare professional, date of birth, health insurance information, Social Security Number, and driver's licence information are among the categories of information that have been disclosed.

The same information is essentially contained in a replacement notice on VCI's website, however it omits the fact that Cyberscout is offering concerned patients 12 months of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
