Upper Peninsula Power Company (“UPPCO”) suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer information by gaining access to its computer network.
The breach compromised the first and last names and Social Security numbers.
UPPCO sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the incident and further steps to protect themselves.
