The University of Castile-La Mancha (UCLM) fell victim to the Ryuk ransomware-type cyberattack.

The attack targeted its critical IT infrastructure which has encrypted certain critical servers, with limited impact on databases and no sensitive information was compromised.

ICT professionals worked hard to re-establish the institution's digital services.
