Suspected North Korean hackers have targeted a joint US-South Korea military exercise though classified information has not been compromised .

To enhance their capacity to respond to North Korea's growing nuclear and missile threats, South Korean and US forces will start the 11-day Ulchi Freedom Guardian summer drills .

Researchers thought the hackers were associated with a North Korean organisation known as Kimsuky.
