Universitat Oberta de Catalunya

The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC suffered a ransomware-type cyberattack that infected the institution's central servers.

The attack affected the access to its virtual campus but not personal data.

However, the incident was resolved after the analysis and tests were carried out, and was also reported to the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya (Catalan Cybersecurity Agency).
