Southern Arizona’s largest school district, the Tucson Unified School District was hit by computer hackers who are now holding its data hostage.
The district's data, according to the hackers, has reportedly been duplicated and is available for public viewing online.
For the decryption, restoration, and confidentiality of the data, Royal was providing them with a "special bargain."
According to Taylor, TUSD is probably attempting to identify the problem's root cause right now.
They are actively trying to fix the problem and have informed the relevant authorities.
The regular school schedule will continue at all TUSD schools, according to the district.
