Tower Administrative Services Discloses Data Breach Affecting Thousands
Tower Administrative Services Inc., a Pennsylvania-based insurance administration firm headquartered in Lancaster, recently confirmed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its corporate network. The company detected suspicious activity and launched an investigation, which revealed that sensitive information was accessed or acquired on or around February 3, 2026.
After completing a review on May 20, 2026, Tower Administrative Services determined that exposed data may have included names, Social Security numbers, addresses, and financial account details, such as debit and credit card numbers. While the total number of affected individuals remains undisclosed, notifications confirmed that at least 25,742 Texas residents and 78 Vermont residents were impacted.
The company began sending breach notifications to affected individuals on June 23, 2026, and disclosed the incident to the attorneys general offices of Nebraska, Texas, and Vermont, as well as posting a public notice on its website.
In response, Tower Administrative Services is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout and Identity Force, with affected individuals required to enroll within 90 days of receiving their notification letter. A dedicated assistance line has also been established for inquiries, operating 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
