Toronto Public Library

A cybersecurity incident occurred at the Toronto Public Library (TPL), and efforts to restore services are still ongoing.

TPL has stated that the incident resulted in the theft of employees' home addresses, social insurance numbers, names, and birthdays.

It was discovered that the library had not paid a ransom to get the stolen content back.
