T-Mobile USA suffered a data breach incident after its cyber-security team discovered unauthorized access to its customers' data.
An attacker exfiltrated personal data such as customer names, billing ZIP codes, phone numbers, email addresses, account numbers, and account types (prepaid or postpaid).
However, he did not gain access to passwords, social security numbers, or any financial information.
T-mobile notified that 3% of its customers were affected by the attack.
