Over 320,000 Time Warner cable customers and some partner companies were targeted in malware and phishing attacks.
FBI warned Time Warner that some of the customer data including usernames and passwords were compromised as they were attacked.
After getting to know the details of the attack, they helped the customers whose account information was stolen, to make them aware and to help them reset their passwords.
