In reaction to purportedly illegal access to the accounts, the firm has demanded the step.

After learning about the stolen passwords and emails, which were all associated with the Roadrunner service, the company began collaborating with the FBI.

Time Warner Cable denied that its systems had been breached, and it's unclear how attackers obtained subscriber information.
