The Heritage Company

The Heritage firm claimed that hackers had targeted their servers and held them hostage in exchange for the "key" to their systems.

According to the organization, failure to get everything up and running has resulted in losses of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Numerous staff members in the Jacksonville office have consequently applied for unemployment, but none of them are ready to go on camera out of concern for their job security should the business reopen.

Many colleagues, however, are unhappy with how it was all handled, claiming they weren't even made aware of a problem until the very last minute.
